This is an 8 hole paper tape reader from about 1960.
The roll of paper tape was placed in a hopper on the right.
This roll of paper tape is small compared to the normal size roll.
Has anybody got some rolls in their attic to contribute to the museum's collection?
The paper tape was threaded under the perspex on the right,
then over the reading gate, then under the exit.
The NEWUC:2004.1 is the museum catalogue number.
