This is the front of the modem with the red ON/OFF switch

One of its printed circuit boards has been extracted and placed on the modem. As you can see it is pretty basic.

A rear view with internals extracted. Apart from the size the thing what strikes one is the weight - 15.5 Kg. The enclosure is steel panels. The internal frame is steel. Two black transformers on the left are almost solid chunks of iron.

Last view of rear with two of the cards removed. Those big chunks are two iron rings clamped together with two windings each ring.
